Feature: Luang Prabang, Laos

Luang Prabang; Alms collection on an early morning. The Ratpack seems to agree that Luang
Prabang was among the top 3 locations that we would return to within Southeast Asia. Though it is clearly flourishing as a major tourist attraction, the peripherals of the the town itself features peaceful walks with fresh air that overlook the mekong river.

Ho Chi Minh- View from the Reunification palace

Monday, February 11, 2008

For an instant I could not remember when or where I photographed this boy. But it all returned to me within the following minutes. I believe he and several other of his friends were making way to classes at Luang Prabang one early morning when I photographed him standing by the sidewalk. It must have been some 4 months now since the shot was taken and my first look at the negative. Looking back at , he hardly seemed as if he'd posed the way he appears in this photo.
